GABL Future 2027 Punches Their Ticket to the Kansas State Championships

(SHAWNEE, KS) - The GABL Future 2027 punched their ticket the Kansas State Championships in Wichita by winning the Shawnee Mission Northwest Shootout. Future 2027 went 4-0 on the weekend  to secure the championship. "The team played with lots of energy and showed a large amount of teamwork throughout the weekend." stated Coach Christian Hatterle. 
Future started their winning ways on Saturday by defeating MoKan 41-31 and the KC Spurs 58-25 in pool play. On Sunday, Future defeated the 4th seed Cougars 76-29 to set up a rematch with the 3rd seed MoKan in the championship game. GABL Future 2027 took care of business in the championship game, defeating MoKan 41-28 to seal their first championship of the Winter Season. "I look forward to seeing what this team can accomplish this winter," stated Hatterle," I believe we have the tools be a really good team as the season progresses."
